No-cost or low-cost events for Mamas at all stages of motherhood.
Trumbull MAMAS has many different activities to meet the needs of our diverse group.
Moms Night Out (MNO)
Our MNO Chairmoms plan one evening a month for moms to socialize. We meet at local restaurants, coffee shops, craft studios, and other relaxing and fun spots. This evening each month is well deserved and provides an excellent opportunity for moms to kick back and relax!
Playgroups
Playgroups are a fun way for you and your child(ren) to make new friends and socialize. Moms volunteer to host playdates and can choose to host at her home or plan an outing to the park, playground, or indoor play area. Playgroups provide a wonderful opportunity to discuss common concerns and interests of your child with moms that have children are around the same age as
you do.
Family Parties
A few times a year, we have family parties. Annual events may include our End of Summer Picnic, Halloween Party, Santa Fire Truck, and Easter Egg Hunt.
Kids Day Out (KDO)
Our KDO Coordinator plans fun events for moms and children to attend. They plan days and times to meet in a social atmosphere. KDO is a great opportunity to expose your children to others their own age and have time to talk to other moms like yourself.
Sunshine Committee
The Sunshine Chairmom organizes Meal Trains for members to provide meals to our members who are new moms or who are going through a difficult time and could use some extra support.
Book Club
Our book club meets once a month to discuss a book. It's a great way to broaden your reading horizon as well as have some "adult" conversation! It also provides an additional outlet for all moms looking for a monthly night out to socialize with supportive moms.
Craft Nights
Craft nights offer a chance to catch up with each other while catching up on crafts, or starting new ones, in a casual setting.
Wellness
Wellness events including soundbaths, yoga, and family health events.
Community-Building
Trumbull Mamas cooperates with and supports many local organizations, including Trumbull Nature and Arts Center (TNAC), Nichols Improvement Association (NIA), Trumbull food pantry, local emergency services, and public schools.
Working Moms
While we no longer have a dedicated working moms group, we view this as a good thing, because many, if not most of our members, are working moms.
Instant Playdates
The easiest way to organize a last-minute playdate is to post on our private Facebook page!
Varied Activities
While we have activities that members look forward to annually, like Muffins for Moms and Christmas in July, we work hard to plan varied activities multiple times a month.
